Making Cards with Carol

Medium: Greeting Cards

Discovering Carol’s creations had me at ‘hello’… Her greeting cards were a perfect invitation to have me wanting all of them! With blank or inside sayings like, ‘Do you ever get the feeling that your Fairy GodMother stepped out for a smoke? Hang in there’ or ‘You make me HAPPY when skies are grey’ made me develop a mental list of all my caring relatives and friends that need to hear and receive these… Way to go Carol! She loves to share a part of herself with people she loves… I am touched.

Medium: Greeting cards and Home Décor

Chalkboard art. Wow! It was love at first site… Not only am I a big fan of greeting cards but the medium of chalk, white and/or color on a blackboard sweetens the concept. With fun happy sayings of art that captures the words are inspiring and uplifting for the soul. I’ve given these cards to friends and watch their reaction to the impressionable words. Precious! Since 2012 Lily and Valerie have been creating wonderful life celebrations with words and assorted paper goods. With added elements of watercolor and illustrations, these ladies are non-stoppable! Check out their delightful collectable creations.

While traveling out west with layovers in airports, I always explore exciting new gift shops. Low and behold I came across Carolyn’s work. OMG how wonderful! She adds a new meaning to nature and art combined, plus her works can be purchased in forms of greeting cards (I love GC!!!). What a wonderful way to expose western nature and create magical works of art. Explore her Earth…

Her work is entertaining, clever and original. I can’t stop staring at it! Erin started creating at childhood and hasn’t stopped. Her illustrations have morphed into greeting cards, prints and Chubbinkins. (what you say?!) Her imagination is far beyond creative boundaries and deserves an award for uber-ingenuity.
