Nick Sninkelletti

Medium: Paint

Colourist? Yes, but I see much more in Nick’s work. Dedication, a keen eye and picturesque thought out his compositions would be a much better analysis. The blues are deep and the landscapes take me to the beauty of Tahoe and beyond. A world traveler who opened his mind to the world to art and the craft of painting. As a native of California,  Nick expanded his reach to the wilderness and as a trained Engineer, there is harmony in his work.

Lyman Whitaker Studio

Medium: Sculptures

Wind sculptures… active, lively and profoundly innovative! Lyman creates these amazing ‘mechanical statuettes’ and I could stare for hours watching their every movement. With nature and craftsmanship beyond the norm, each piece relates not only to the environment but to the relationship of the earth. Bravo! See for yourself.

Michael Eadington

Medium: Photography

I respond to Mike’s work and you will too. With nature being grander than anything on earth, his photos will have you at ‘Wow’… The Sierra Nevada region is captured wholly in each of his scenic studies and each snapshot is truly a gift. Born and raised here does have it’s benefits.  View his site for a variety of amazing shots!

Nevada Museum of Art

Visit: Nevada Museum of Art

I’m in touch with my western inner-self… This museum has a wonderful collection of Nevada history, modern and contemporary art. Their focus is on the protection of the land and is the only accredited art museum in the state of Nevada associated with the American Alliance of Museums. That alone speaks volume. Come for a visit if you are in area as the setting is very fresh and sits in the heart of the city of Reno.
